Holiday season!

Holiday season!

Yes, it’s time to cram every little bit of every little bit into one long wonderfully ridiculously crazy month! See all your friends, see all your family’s extended family see all your family friends, see all your coworkers, see all their significant others, see all your coworkers significant others friends. Help others in need, help with food drives, make money for charities by carolling in your neighbourhood, busking at the market, wrapping presents at the mall, buying goats and school supplies and beds and chickens for so many without. It’s also time to go to your kid’s dance recital, go to your kid’s orchestra recital, go to your kid’s music concert, go to your kid’s school recital. Eat lots of chocolate and cookies and candy canes and nut mixes and cheese balls and shrimp hors d’oeuvres. Drink some wine and some eggnog and some brandy and some Bailey’s and some champagne and some cocktails and much coffee. Make some cookies for presents and some more cookies and some nuts and some bolts and some vinegars for presents and some more cookies and some granola for gifts and some more cookies for presents and more nuts and some more bolts and more food for parties and for celebrations and for friends.

There is the buying of presents for everyone you know; the school teachers, the dance teachers, the music teachers, the coaches, the neighbours, the secret Santas, the Grandparents and Aunts and Uncles and nephews and nieces, sisters and brothers, daughters and sons and significant others. The good friends and the best friends, your kids friends. The pet sitters, the baby sitters, the mailpeople, the garbage collectors, the hairdresser and more.

Let me just tell you that while I am making those earrings for Aunt Betty and cousin Terry and sister Loulou, you are welcome to come by my studio and see if I have anything for your Aunt Joan.

My studio is open to you whenever I am home. Which is often. Text me and I will let you know, 519-820-8490.
