Once Made Necklace: “In Between”

This is a piece that is part of a series I am working on stemming from ideas of unification. Feeling the world’s huge divisions, I have been working with leather and telephone wire trying to piece us together. 
This piece is made from a leather remnant, telephone wire, aluminum wire and silicone beads. It hangs on a brown shock cord with a magnetic clasp. Hanging 20 cm long.
