United: Integrated

This Pendant is apart of the United Collection. This is a collection that has been created with the ideas of division, difference and the yearning to connect us. In this work I have been using scrap leather like unwanted skins and telephone wire to piece us together as one. Now more then ever we see ourselves divided, in the world, in our communities and in our friends and families. 

Made from leather, telephone wire, silicone tubing, metal and coral beads and a couple of snap. It hangs on a black shock cord necklace with a magnetic clasp, that is 62cm (24") and the pendants size is 15.5cm x 7cm (8"x 3.5").
